6.30 Gluing Teflon
The self-adhesive Teflon film on the heating element must be replaced in case of wear and tear.
In order to glue the new Teflon film perfectly with the heating element, the film must be pressed down onto the
heating element for several minutes at a high temperature.
Please follow the instructions on the display.
The heating element can reach temperatures above 200°C. Risk of burns!
Wait until the heating element has cooled down to room temperature before you remove
the old Teflon film and attach the new Teflon film.
6.31 Heat-seal removal
The permanent marking labels can be removed with this function. Place the garment with the label to be
removed over the heat-seal rubber. Now move the pressure lever together with the item of clothing up to the
heating element. The lever is now automatically pressed onto the heating plate.
The lever drops after the set time. The glue on the label has become fluid and the label can be removed. This
must happen as quickly as possible otherwise the glue cools down and hardens again.
The time can be set with the "+" and "-" buttons.
The temperature for this operating mode is set in menu 3 (see chapter 6.17).
