WATER FLOW ADJUSTMENT:
Water regulator: This valve is used to reduce water pressure and to stop float switch “bounce”
when water is injected in.
If the water pressure regulator needs to be adjusted use the following procedure below:
Photo 4: Water pressure regulator.
When the water supply is gravity fed:
•
Pull the water regulator knob towards you and turn it clockwise as far as it can go. This will
open the valve fully (there is still enough pressure reduction through the valve even when
fully open to reduce “bounce”).
When mains water is connected to the cabinet:
•
As described previously, when town water is connected as the water supply, the water
pressure can cause the float switch to “bounce”. This will result in the water solenoid valve
clicking in and out as the float switch bounces on the water. You can reduce the water
pressure by adjusting the regulator.
•
Pull the water regulator knob towards you and turn it anti-clockwise until the float switch
“bounce” is reduced. Note: If you turn the regulator fully anti-clockwise the water supply will
be turned off.
