Caution
Do not use the ULTROpure product
water until you have completely
flushed the system of sanitizing solu-
tion. Be sure to reset the recovery to
the recommended rate.
Warning
Avoid splashing disinfectant solution
on clothing or skin. Ensure all piping
connections are tight to avoid leakage
of chemicals. Always depressurize
chemical lines before disassembly.
Ensure adequate ventilation. Follow
carefully the manufacturerʼs safety
instructions on labels of chemical con-
tainers and material data sheets.

Carefully pour the solution into the prefilter hous-
ing to within one inch from the top of housing .
G. Carefully reinstall the prefilter housing onto the
head.
H. Reconnect electrical power to the ULTROpure.
I.
Turn the ULTROpure unit on for 30 seconds and
then shut it off. Repeat 3 or 4 times to allow the
solution to completely fill the membrane housing.
J.
Disconnect the “Reject” tubing at the ULTROpure.
The ULTROpure system can now be shut down indefinitely.
Clearly mark the ULTROpure unit stating that it is in a stor-
age/shutdown condition to avoid system use without proper
restart procedure.
Startup Procedure After Shutdown
When you are ready to return the ULTROpure to service,
make sure that the “Product” and “Reject” lines are running to
drain.
A. Turn the ULTROpure on.
B. Follow steps K through S of the Operation section
(on page 20 & 21) to set the system recovery and
to check the pH and chlorine levels. Record this
information on the Operating Record Log Sheet.
C. After setting the recovery and allowing the system
to operate for one hour, you are ready to collect
and use the product water from your ULTROpure.
Turn the unit off and reconnect any disconnected
service lines.
