Tools and materials 
required 

Any maintenance work or adjustments to the STP 120 Tissue Processor 
requires the use of the following tools and materials: 

•

  Tester (Multimeter) 

•

  Flat blade and Phillips screwdrivers (small and medium size) 

•

  Allen keys in metric sizes. 

•

  Small socket wrench in metric sizes 

 

If it is necessary to replace temperature probes, apart from the 
corresponding spare parts, the following items will also be required: 
 

•

  Cyanoacrylate adhesive (e.g. Loctite, etc.) 

•

  Silicone for semiconductors 

•

  Standard neutral silicone 

•

  Solvent and cutter 

•

  Cable clamps (nylon/small) 

•

  Sealed connection tags (for the paraffin baths) 

 

Before taking any of the voltage readings, confirm the measurement points 
by consulting the corresponding wiring diagrams included in this manual.
