Warning messages
on the display
This message appears when the unit does not receive the signal that
the battery is fully charged or when the battery or the charging and
control system are defective.
NOTE:
This message may appear on the screen when the unit is
connected for the first time. Press the ALARM key to acknowledge
reception of the alarm and operate the unit normally or leave it
connected. The battery should be fully charged to normal levels after
48 hours have elapsed.
If 48 hours have elapsed and after a cut in the power supply the
CHECK BATTERY message appears again the battery should be
replaced. Proceed as described in page 25
If the battery error message continues to appear after the battery has
been replaced, check fuses F6 and F7 on the BASCAR V15 circuit
board.
Procedure:
1. Connect the unit to the mains power supply
2. Turn the switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position.
3. Follow the procedure described on page 9, skipping points 1 and 2.
4. After point 7
disconnect the unit from the power supply
5. Once the unit has been placed in position for dismantling first
remove the MICCAR V30 circuit board to gain access to fuses F6
and F7 on the BASCAR V15 circuit board.

Replace the blown fuses on the BASCAR V15 circuit board.
F6 = 2AT; F7 = 125mAT
Reassemble the circuit boards
Connect the unit to the mains power supply and make sure that
it functions correctly.
NO
Replace the BASCAR V15 circuit board (access to this circuit
board requires first removing the MICCAR V30 circuit board).
Reassemble the circuit boards
Connect the unit to the mains power supply and make sure that it
functions correctly.
