• The flow cell is designed to work at atmospheric pressure. It is recommended that the
sample outflow be connected to an atmospheric drain, the flow cell should not incur any
back pressure or vacuum.
• The flow cell and electrode achieve optimal results when the sample flow is controlled. A
sample flow of 20 to 100 mL per minute is recommended.
• Sample temperature should be controlled to between 5 and 45 °C for the best results.
• Mount the flow cell to a secure wall or panel.
• Mount the flow cell as close to the monitor or amplifier as possible. This will help to
minimize noise.
• When removing the electrode or ATC probe from the flow cell cap, unscrew the holder
first. Do not pull the electrode or ATC probe out of the holders. Be careful not to lose
the O-rings.
• When removing the flow cell cap, first unscrew the lock screw holding the cap in place.
Remove the cap slowly and vertically while twisting slowly from side to side. Be careful
not to damage the glass electrode.
