Autoclave
Rotor and rotor lid may be autoclaved at a maximum
temperature of 134°C.
Maximum autoclave cycles:
•
15 minutes at 134 °C
•
20 minutes at 121 °C
Before autoclaving it, clean the rotor and rinse it with
water. Remove the rotor lid and take out the capillary
tubes.
Chemical admixtures in the vapour
are not permitted.
Never exceed the permitted values for autoclave tem-
perature and time.
If the rotor shows signs of wear or corrosion it may no
longer be used!
If the white rubber strip shows signs of wear (e. g.
cracks) it needs to be replaced.
Replace rubber strip 7500 3437
Remove the old rubber strip. Put the new rubber strip
together in a ring so that it is not twisted. Put the touch-
ing ends into the rotor groove so that they are placed
between two capillary slots (see figure 3). Press the
rubber strip completely into the groove, avoiding
creases or waves.
