Please, draw attention of your children that they must not play with the EWH.
The EWH is not designed to be operated by people (including children) with physical, tactile or mental
disorders, as well as people who cannot use the EWH, unless it is made under control and according to
the instructions of people responsible for the EWH safety.
The EWH is installed on the wall with nozzles directed vertically downwards. Possible variants of the
EWH installation are given in
Fig. 1
. During installation the EWH must be installed in such a way that the
water spray doesn’t ingress its housing.
In order to connect the EWH to the power network it is necessary to put down the upper cover of the
water heater and connect the conductive electric cable (not included into delivery) to the terminal block
on the EWH housing as follows: connect the yellow-green cable wire to the terminal

.
For connection we recommend to use a three-core cable with sectional area of each core not less than
2
4 mm for the EWH with a wattage of up to 6 kW and a cable with sectional area of each core not less
2
than 6 mm for the EWH with a wattage of 10 kW. Before starting the electric wiring installation it is
necessary to cut off power from the power supply net to which the EWH is connected. First, the cable is
connected to the EWH and then to the switch. In order to disconnect the EWH from the power supply
net one should use a two-pole switch with plug fuse, with gap between the disengaged contacts not less
than 3 mm at all poles (not included into delivery), 40 A for the EWH with a wattage of up to 8 kW and 50
A for the EWH with a wattage of 10 kW. Before putting the EWH into operation it is necessary to fix the
cover.
The electric wiring, security and switchgears must stand current load not less than 40 A for the EWH
with a wattage of up to 8 kW and 50 A for the EWH with a wattage of 10 kW.
Operation
Switch on the EWH power supply switching on the two-pole switch. As the water flows through the EWH
the light indicator on the cover will switch on. Softly turn the cold water supply tap handle. Wait for 15-20
sec until the outlet water temperature becomes stable. If the EWH outlet water is very cold, reduce the
water supply, if very hot
–
turn on the cold-water tap to obtain the necessary temperature. The cold tap
water temperature may alternate significantly within the year from 4
°C to 20 °C. It means that at the
same EWH outlet water temperature the water flow in winter will be less than in summer. The shower
spraying mode can be regulated by turning the handle to the position

or

(for
shower nozzles with automated switch) or by installation of removable rings (for shower nozzles with
removable rings). The water spraying mode has a huge impact on the shower operation. The shower
handle position

(or reduction of the rings number with openings) provides effective water
spraying at a smaller volume.
After use of the EWH when turning off the hot-water tap the EWH will automatically switch off and the
water heating will stop.
Technical maintenance
The EWH does not require special technical maintenance. In case of difficulties in the EWH operation
or in case of defects in the water heater operation contact the qualified specialist.
