Please note:
•

Before beginning the assembly procedure, for easier

cooker hood handling, open the packaging, remove the
cooker hood and place it on a convenient surface (Fig.
2a).
Open the panel as shown in Fig. 2b.
Remove the aluminium panel by pulling the handle as
indicated in Fig. 2c. If the product is supplied with active
charcoal filters, remove them by pulling the lever outwards
as indicated in Fig. 2d.

•

Hood assembly

The product is supplied pre-assembled. To install it,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the four screws

A

 as indicated in Fig. 3.

- Remove cable clamp plate

C

 by removing the 2 screws

B

 as indicated in Fig. 3.

- Inside slot

H

there are wires connected using a rapid

connector (

A-B Fig. 4

); pull the cables outside and se-

parate the electrical connection as shown in Fig. 4.
- Separate the body of the cooker hood

D

 from frame

G

,

as shown in figure 4.

•

Fixing the appliance to a wall

- Position the fixing template on the wall (taking the
minimum distance from the hob into account).
Mark fixing holes and cut them into the material.
- Position the screw anchors and partially tighten the 2
screws

C

 Fig. 5.

- If your model is a

filter version

, before fixing the hood

bodywork to the structure, fix the flexible hose

C

 (not

supplied) to the air outlet opening

D

 on the hood and the

air outlet flange

Y

 (Fig. 6).

- If your model is a

ducted version

, remove the grille

F

(Fig. 8) only if the air exhaust tube must be passed
through the inside of the air outlet bracket

Y

 (Fig. 7).

- Connect the flexible hose

C

 to the air outlet

D

, which in

turn will be connected to the air exhaust hole made
previously.
- Fix the air outlet bracket

Y

to the wall using the 2 screws

E

 (Fig. 9).

- Position and fix frame

G

 onto the 2 screws

C

, which

were fixed to the wall previously without being fully
tightened (Fig. 9); align frame

G

so that it is in a horizontal

position and fix it to the wall using the other 4 screws

E

(Fig. 9).
- When carrying out the fixing procedures, use only
screws and screw anchors which are suited to the type
of wall (e.g. reinforced concrete, plasterboard etc.).
- If the screws and screw anchors are supplied with the
appliance, make sure that they are suited to the type of
wall to which the hood must be fixed.
- Place the bodywork

D

 inside structure

G

, making sure

that slots

H

on the bodywork are aligned with the two

pins on the side of the frame

L

 (Fig. 10); push the

bodywork upwards and fix it in place using the 4 screws
A on the lower part of the cooker hood (Fig. 11).

Please note:

If the cooker hood is not perfectly fitted

against the wall, make sure that the two side fixing pins

L

are coupled correctly with the rear slots

H

 on the body

of the hood (Fig. 10).
- Restore the electrical connection by joining connector

A

 to connector

B

, placing it in the slot and covering the

entire unit with cable clamp plate

C

, fixing it in place

using the 2 screws

B

 (Fig. 12).

USE AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend that the cooker hood is switched on

before any food is cooked. We also recommend that the
appliance is left running for 15 minutes after the food is
cooked, in order to thoroughly eliminate all contaminated
air.
The effective performance of the cooker hood depends
on constant maintenance; the anti-grease filter and the
active carbon filter both require special attention.

• The anti-grease filter

is used to trap any grease

particles suspended in the air, therefore is subject to
saturation (the time it takes for the filter to become
saturated depends on the way in which the appliance is
used).
- To prevent potential fire hazards, the anti-grease filters
should be washed a minimum of every 2 months (it is
possible to use the dishwasher for this task).
- After a few washes, the colour of the filters may change.
This does not mean they have to be replaced.
If the replacement and washing instructions are not fol-
lowed, the anti-grease filters may present a fire hazard.

• The active carbon filters

are used to purify the air

which is released back into the room. The filters are not
washable or re-usable and must be replaced at least once
every four months. The active carbon filter saturation level
depends on the frequency with which the appliance is
used, the type of cooking performed and the regularity
with which the anti-grease filters are cleaned.
• Clean the cooker hood frequently, both inside and
outside, using a cloth which has been dampened with
denatured alcohol or neutral,

non

-abrasive liquid

detergents.
• The light on the cooker hood is designed for use during
cooking and not for general room illumination. Extended
use of the light reduces the average duration of the bulb.

• Replacing halogen light bulbs (Fig. 15).

To replace the halogen lamps

B

, from the inside of the

cooker hood press downwards with two fingers as shown
in Fig. 15.
Replace the bulbs with new ones of the same type.

COMMANDS:

(Fig.13)

Push-button A

= on/off lights switch

Push-button B

= on/off cooker hood switch.  The appli-

ance switches on at speed level 1,  If the cooker hood is
on depress the push-button for 2 sec. to switch off the
cooker hood.  If the cooker hood is at speed level 1 it will
not be necessary to depress the push-button to switch
the cooker hood off.  Decreases the motor speed.

Display C

= indicates the motor speed level selected

and activates the timer.

Push-button D

= switches on the cooker hood.  In-

creases the motor speed.  Touching the key at 3rd speed,
the intensive function runs for 10', then the appliance go
back to work at the original speed. During this function
the display blinks.

Key E

= The Timer times the functions on activation for

15 minutes, after which they are switched off. The Timer
is deactivated by re-pressing

Key E

. When the Timer is

activated the decimal point must flash on the display.
