2.02 Equipment Identification
The unit’s identification numbe r (specification o r pa r t
numbe r ), model, and se r ial numbe r usually appea r on a
nameplate attached to the cont r ol panel. In some cases,
the nameplate may be attached to the r ea r panel.
Equipment which does not have a cont r ol panel such as
gun and cable assemblies is identified only by the
specification o
r pa r t numbe r p r inted on the shipping
containe r . Reco r d these numbe r s on the bottom of page
1 fo r futu r e r efe r ence.
2.03 Receipt Of Equipment
When you r eceive the equipment, check it against the
invoice to make su r e it is complete and inspect the
equipment fo r possible damage due to shipping. If the r e
is any damage, notify the ca rr ie r immediately to file a
claim. Fu r nish complete info r mation conce r ning damage
claims o r shipping e rr o r s to the location in you r a r ea
listed in the inside back cove r of this manual.
Include all equipment identification numbe r s as desc r ibed
above along with a full desc r iption of the pa r ts in e rr o r .
Move the equipment to the installation site befo r e un-
c r ating the unit. Use ca r e to avoid damaging the
equipment when using ba r s, hamme r s, etc., to un-c r ate
the unit.
