B.3.1 Main Setup Features
B.3.1.1 System Time
To set the system date and time, key in the correct information in the appropriate
fields. Then press the <Enter> key to save the data.
B.3.1.2 System Date
Using the arrow keys, highlight the month, day, and year fields, and enter the correct
data. Press the <Enter> key to save the data.
B.3.1.3 BIOS Date
The item displays the date that the BIOS was built.
B.3.1.4 Legacy Diskette A
This setting allows the user to set the type of floppy disk drive installed as diskette
A. The options are: Disabled, 360Kb 5.25 in, 1.2MB 5.25 in, 720Kb 3.5 in,
1.44/1.25MB , 3.5 in and 2.88MB 3.5 in.
B.3.1.5 IDE Channel 0 Master/Slave, IDE Channel 1 Master/Slave, SATA
Port 2, and SATA Port 3
These settings allow the user to set the parameters of IDE Channel 0 Master/ Slave,
IDE Channel 1 Master/Slave, IDE Channel 2 Master, IDE Channel 3 Master slots.
Hit <Enter> to activate the following sub-menu screen for detailed options of these
items. Set the correct configurations accordingly. The items included in the sub-
menu are:
Type
This option allows the user to selects the type of IDE hard drive. The option Auto
will allow the BIOS to automatically configure the parameters of the HDD installed
at the connection. Enter a number between 1 to 39 to select a predetermined HDD
type. Select User to allow the user to enter the parameters of the HDD installed.
Select CDROM if a CDROM drive is installed. Select ATAPI if a removable disk
drive is installed.
