Switch ON/OFF channel C1:

Channel ON:
The LED of C1/C2 is illuminated.

Verifying codes
Transmitting and receiving products are already tuned and coded to one
another in the factory.
First test of channel C1 (e.g. Room 1):
When control units REC 1/REC 2 are in view:
-> Select CODING from the RAMSES 813 top No. 1 service menu and
confirm with
OK
.
The LED for C1 and the level display light up briefly.
Test of channel C2 (e.g. Room 2)
(Only possible with REC 2)
-> Select CODING from the RAMSES 813 top No. 2 service menu and
confirm with
OK.
The LED for C2 and the level indicator light up briefly.
• Set the rotary switch to MENU.
• Use the
▲
and
▼
keys to select SERVICE
(press OK button to open the service menu).
• Select TEST HF and confirm with
OK
.
The room thermostat now transmits for 15 mins. at regular 3 second inter-
vals. The control display on the receiver and the channel status display
light up during this cycle. During the test phase, the location of the regula-
tor and therefore the reception quality can be optimised. The relays are
not switched. During the test phase the location of the controller and with it,
the quality of reception can be optimised. The relays are not switched.
Place the controller in the desired living area.
Optimal Reception:
When all LEDs are lit during transmission. However, at least one green
LED must be lit.
Premature cancellation:
Press the
ESC
key and set the rotary switch to the opposite position.
With
RAMSES
®
813 top Set 2
the reception quality for both room
thermostats must be checked separately and optimised.
Reception quality can, if necessary, be improved by the rod antenna avai-
lable as accessory equipment.
