24 NEBULA OPERATION
NEBULA STAGE SHOWS OPERATION
Every Nebula fitted with Stage Scenes software has an auto Show facility which uses the 64 scenes as cue states of an
auto-sequencing Show or Chase. A Show runs through its cues until the End scene when it stops, whereas a Chase does an
auto-restart on reaching the End scene.
The Nebula can record a total of 20 Shows or Chases, each with programmable start and end scenes selected from the 64
recorded scenes with their fade times and levels. The wait time programmed on each scene is the time delay before the next
scene is cross-faded in. Each Show or Chase has the following attributes:
·
Programmable start scene
·
Programmable end scene
·
Wait times between cues from 0.1 second to 30 minutes. Wait time may also be set at stop for slaved Nebulas.
·
An editable Show label of 8 alphanumeric characters
·
Each of the 20 Shows may be programmed as a Show (an auto-sequence of scenes finishing at the last scene) or as
a Chase (an auto-sequence of scenes which restarts after the last scene)
·
Chases can be programmed to be auto-reversing
·
Shows and Chases can be programmed to use time-proportional or constant slope cross-fades
·
Remote cue go, cue back, start, end, and play/pause control from matching area Wallplate show controllers.
The examples below assume a start from the top menu level—pressing the Back key several times always goes to top
menu: the screen shows “
Theatrelight NZ
”, together with the model, number of channels, the software version, and the
current DMX Start number.
