IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic

safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Read all instructions, safeguards, and warnings before using the appliance.

1.   Verify that the main voltage indicated on the product corresponds with the

voltage of your electrical outlet.

Rated voltage:

110~120V, 60Hz, 1000W

220~240V, 50/60Hz, 950~1100W

2.   Do not place appliance where it can fall or be pulled into water or other liquid.
3.   Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately!
4.   Always pull handle up to “off” position before plugging in or unplugging oven.
5.   Place oven securely in center of counter or work space.
6.   Always unplug oven before attempting to move it.
7.   Secure the FLAVORWAVE OVEN

®

EXPRESS™ lid on the oven before

turning on power.

8.   Always turn oven off before removing lid and always place lid on the lid holder.

Never set it down directly on the counter. Always leave at least 5 cm

(2 inches) between the oven lid and counter top or other surfaces.

9.   Use two hands when moving the oven.
10. The oven cannot be placed near the wall (while using). Always leave at least

5cm (2 inches) between the oven and the wall.
11. Do not touch the glass bowl and lid or any surfaces on the heater assembly

during operation. The air inside the cooking dome reaches a temperature of

approximately 210ºC/410ºF which makes the surface very hot and may cause

burns.

12. This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

13.  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
14. Use this appliance for its intended use as described in this brochure. Do not

use any other accessories or attachments not recommended by the

manufacturer. They may result in fire, electrical shock, or personal injury.

15. Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly, if it has been

dropped or damaged, or dropped into water, or if it has a damaged cord or

plug. Return the appliance to a qualified repair facility for inspection, repair,

or adjustment.
