10. ALTERNATOR/STARTING CLUTCH

A.C.G. Set Installation

 

Install the A.C.G. coil set onto right crankcase cover (3 
screws). 
Install pulse generator (3 screws). 
Tie the wire harness securely onto the indent of 

crankcase.

 

 

 

 

Left Crankcase Cover Installation

 

Install dowel pin and new gasket. 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove water pump cover. 
Install left crankcase cover onto the crankcase.   
 
 

 

 

 

 

Note: Align the water pump shaft indent with the water 
pump gear shaft. 

 

 

Dowel pin 

Make sure that the wire harness is placed under 
pulse generator.
