6.10 Battery displays, factory-reset & firmware information
6.10.1 Battery displays

As soon as the battery symbol
appears in the display of indoor temperature and humidity, either no backup battery is inserted or it
should be changed.
y
If additional transmitters are used and the battery symbol
is displayed in the extra sensor area for one of the transmitters, please
change the batteries of the corresponding transmitter.
6.10.2 Factory-reset
y
In case of a serious malfunction or if you want to reset all settings and memories of the projection alarm clock to factory settings, press
and hold the buttons ALARM and NAP buttons (Fig.2-A+J) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
6.10.3 Check the firmware version
y
To check the firmware version, press and hold the
and PROJ INFO buttons (Fig.2-C+D) simultaneously for 3 seconds. A version info of
the alarm clock firmware is displayed and then a version info of the firmware of the Wi-Fi module appears briefly.
7. Positioning
y
The projection alarm clock can be placed onto any flat surface.
y
With the fold-out feet on the bottom, the set-up angle can be changed for better readability.
y
Do not use the projection alarm clock in the vicinity of radiators, other sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
y
Make sure to avoid the vicinity of any source of interference such as computer screens, TV sets or solid metal objects.
y
Make sure that the projection alarm clock has sufficient reception of the Wi-Fi signal at the installation location.
8. Care and maintenance
y
Clean the projection alarm clock with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
y
Remove the battery and pull out the plug of the socket the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
y
Store the device in a dry place.
9. Troubleshooting

No outdoor transmitter is installed
Check the outdoor transmitter’s batteries (only use batteries/rechargeable batteries with 1.5V voltage!)
Restart the outdoor transmitter and the projection clock according to the manual
Manual search for the transmitter (according to the manual)
Choose another place for the outdoor transmitter and/or the projection clock
Reduce the distance between the outdoor transmitter and the projection clock
Check if there is any source of interference.
