Using the sweeper:
Starting:
The sweeper starts by SLOWLY pressing down the right control lever of the machine. It
is recommended that the engine, always runs with full revolutions, as the rotating parts
of the machine then work in the best way.
NEVER engage the sweeper in soil or loose material. Engage the sweeper only, when
the brushes are free, otherwise you will cause unnecessary wear.
The motion of the machine is engaged with the left control lever of the basic machine.
Press it down slowly and the machine will begin to drive. The direction of travelling
depends on the arrow on the direction control. Read this in the basic machine manual.
Stopping:
The sweeper is equipped with a dead-man grip , which means that when the controls
are released, all motion of the sweeper stops and the brushes stop rotating.
IN case of an accident you should always as quickly as possible release the control
and stop the engine by setting the throttle control on STOP .
Adjustment of:
working depth
The sweeper is adjusted from the factory to sweep at the best position. When the
brushes are getting worn it is necessary to adjust it again, so the brushes get closer to
the surface.
You adjust the working depth by moving the plastic pins on the support wheel. When
you remove 1 pin from below and place it above, you lift the sweeper and the brushes
gets closer to the surface. (see picture)
Turning:
You are able to turn the sweeper 18 degrees to each side. You do this by pulling the pawl
on the sweeper back, turn the sweeper, release the pawn and click it. NEVER do this
when the sweeper is engaged.
IMPORTANT never do this when the brush is rotating!!!
