Kit Operation
A block diagram of the TLV320AIC32EVM-PDK is shown in
Figure 1
. The evaluation kit consists of two
circuit boards connected together. The motherboard is designated as the USB-MODEVM Interface board,
while the daughtercard is the TLV320AIC32EVM described previously in this manual.

The USB-MODEVM Interface board is intended to be used in USB mode, where control of the installed
EVM is accomplished using the onboard USB controller device. Provision is made, however, for driving all
the data buses (I
2
C, SPI™, I
2
S/AC97) externally. The source of these signals is controlled by SW2 on the
USB-MODEVM. Refer to
Table 6
for details on the switch settings.
