3.2
Software Installation
Download the GUI software from
. After downloading, install the TLC6C5712-Q1 EVM GUI on
the PC. A shortcut to the GUI is found on the desktop. A shortcut can also be found in the startup menu
under the
Texas Instruments
folder.
3.3
GUI Connection
After setting up the hardware, open the GUI.
shows the overview of the TLC6C5712-Q1 EVM
GUI. When the EVM is connected correctly, the status bar at the bottom right of the GUI will show a green
CONNECTED
status. A red
SIMULATION
status indicates that the device is not connected. Check the
connection of the device to make sure that it is properly connected. If the SIMULATION status still
appears, then uncheck the
Simulate Communication
box in the top right of the GUI to connect the device.

Power Supply Connector
