Concept S SW + R Dolby Digital/dts
Start-up
First use
First ensure that all cables are connected as de-
scribed above and insert the mains cable into the
socket.
Switch the main power switch [Power] at the rear
to “On” to activate the 5.1 amplifier of the sub
-
woofer. The blue LED lamp lights up on the left of
the operation panel on the front of the subwoofer.
The “Input”, “” and “Volume-” buttons on
the operating panel have no (activated) function
( yet). The subwoofer starts operation when you
press “Standby”.
By pressing “Input” repeatedly you can activate
all inputs in succession: “Opt”, “Coax”, “VCR”, “Aux”,
“PC”, “Tuner”.
You can set the desired overall volume using the
“Volume [+] and [–]” buttons.
With the Concept S SW+R DD/dts, it is possible to
make all of the settings using the remote control.
To do this, first insert the batteries into the re
-
mote control battery compartment as per the
illustration:
If the device no longer responds to the remote
control, even when it is used in direct proximity
to the subwoofer, change the batteries.
Please note:
1) Do not combine new and old batteries
2) Do not use different types of batteries
3) Observe polarity – see battery compartment
For the remote control to work properly, do not
use it at a distance of more than seven metres
from the subwoofer and at a maximum horizon-
tal angle of 30 degrees to the subwoofer.
