Notes:
• The volume setting of the external player also affects
the volume of the KB 42.
• If you select Bluetooth
®
as the source, but there is no
KB 42 Bluetooth module in the slot, the error message
“BT MODULE MISSING” will appear on the display. The
KB 42 will then automatically select “CD” as the source
after 5 seconds.
1. If you have not yet done so, push the button

“BT” to select Bluetooth
®
as the source.
2. Establish the Bluetooth
®
connection between the exter-
nal player and the KB 42 as described above.
3. Start playback on your external player.
4. Control playback on your external device or with the
remote control (playback/pause, stop, next / previous
track, volume).
5. If your external player is a smartphone, the Bluetooth
®
connection will be interrupted in the event of an incom-
ing call and you can make phone calls as usual.
After fi nishing your phone call, the sounds will once
again be diverted and played back by your KB 42.
6. To terminate the Bluetooth
®
connection, turn off the
Bluetooth
®
function on your external player and select
another source on the KB 42.
