Selecting the track number directly
In addition to the possibility of browsing through the
tracks with the buttons

the possibility of selecting a track directly with the number
buttons

• With single-digit track numbers, enter the desired num-
ber with the number buttons “1...9”.
You can make your KB 42 Bluetooth-capable with the
optionally available KB 42 Bluetooth module. You can
then connect compatible Bluetooth devices such as most
smartphones with your KB 42 via Bluetooth
®
and play
back the audio from your smartphone via the KB 42.
Notice:
The KB 42 Bluetooth module was developed
exclusively for the KB 42 and does not work with other
devices.
The Bluetooth
®
wireless transmission system has a range
of approximately 10 metres that is limited by walls and
furnishings. If the connection is cut off, the KB 42 will at-
tempt to re-establish a connection until you select another
source.
Bluetooth
®
options
Depending on the device type, your external player/smart-
phone may also have a number of Bluetooth
®
options
such as media playback and call function. Here you can
activate and deactivate the desired options.
You can fi nd more information about the Bluetooth
®
options in the user manual of your external player/smart-
phone.

• Insert the KB 42 Bluetooth module there so that the
label “KB 42 Bluetooth Module” is pointing up.

Only use Bluetooth

tions where wireless radio
transmission is allowed.
Please keep in mind that the Bluetooth
®
behaviour may differ depending on the
external player’s operating system.

“10+” button
