Radio Playback
Select one of the radio frequency modes as a source (see
page 13):
FM
– Reception of mono and stereo stations in the range
of 87.5 to 108 MHz, RDS mode is possible.
AM
– Reception of mono stations in the range from 522
to 1,629 kHz.

Automatically
•
: After holding down the button (approx.
2 seconds), the station scanning starts in the desired
direction until a station with suffi cient transmission
power is found.
Manually
•
: The frequency is increased or decreased by
one step (FM: 0.05 MHz, AM: 9 kHz) each time the
button is tipped.

As soon as the station is received in stereo, the notice
"STEREO" also appears. With weak stations, stereo
mode may result in problems. In this case, switch to Mono
mode by pushing the button

"Stereo/Mono".
If the station transmits an RDS signal, the name of the
station is displayed instead of the frequency after a mo-
ment. By pushing the button

"RDSRDS/Display", you
can access further RDS information to the extent the radio
station provides such information.
Station memory
Your radio can save 20 stations for each of the two radio
frequency modes (FM and AM). You can conveniently
select the saved stations by pushing a corresponding
button.
Saving stations manually
Set the desired station as described above.

The station has now been saved. If no button is pushed
for fi ve seconds, the device switches back to normal
mode.
Saving stations automatically
Push and hold the button

"Search/Auto Scan" for
approx. two seconds until station scanning begins. The
radio will now search for stations with suffi cient reception
quality and automatically saves them. Previously saved
stations are deleted in the process.
If more than 20 stations are found, the notice "FULL" will
appear on the display panel and the search is ended.
Selecting stations from the memory
You can access the saved stations sequentially with the
buttons
