Operating:
1.
Open the battery compartment cover, install 9V battery, please do put the battery strictly
according to
−
shown inside the compartment.
2.
Take off the protection cap from top side of this meter, contact and hold sensor prods onto the 2
metal pins in the protection cap from outs side, then press Testing Switch, if LED display shows at
18% ±1%, that means the meter is in good condition and ready to work, otherwise, if LED display
value stays beyond the scope 17%~19%
and/or
under-voltage lamp turns on, or the meter does
not respond at all, that means: the inside battery is weak or bad, and should be replaced rightly.
3.
Insert the sensor prods into testing specimen of paper, push and hold on
Testing Switch
to
detect moisture ratio, after LED display gets settled, the displayed value is just the moisture ratio of
the tested paper.
Note:
1. In order not to spoil the wood or veneer, please always adopt a specimen in thickness no more
than 20mm to test moisture ratio.
2. During the testing, if 0% is displayed, that means: moisture ratio is below 5%,
if OL is displayed, that means: moisture ratio is over 40%.
3. During testing, if under-voltage lamp turns on, that means the battery gets weak and should be
replaced, otherwise, accuracy can not be guaranteed although the meter still works.
4. To protect sensor prods and save power, please put on the protection cap after usage.
5. Please take out the 9V battery if the meter will not be used for long time.
6. Always keep this meter in dry and clean places.
7. To protect environment, please dispose the replaced battery in the places appointed by
Government.
