1. 250V. Surge Test
Press “
” button to power on, simultaneously, press the “Class ll” button until the
display shows insulation setting “250V”. You can also set the 250V test when the tester is
on ,by pressing and holding down the “Class ll” button until it shows “insulation”
Once you turn the instrument “off” the 250v setting, defaults back to 500v when you turn the
Instruments back on. Repeating the procedure will reset it at 250v, this allows you to test
surge protected equipment
2.Zero Clearing
Connect the zeroing plug, Long press “Class I” button for 3 seconds and then release it,
the meter will check whether the connection is correct. If it does, the meter will clear the
resistance values of connection cable and the one inside the meter. This allows you to use
longer earth leads
