Assembling Your Processor
The assembly procedure varies slightly depending
on whether you are using the appliance for
processing food or slicing/grating.
Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the
mains. before assembling or disassembling the
processor.
Assembling the Processor for normal use
1: Place the motor unit on a solid level surface and
press down to attach the rubber feet to the work
top.
Place the inner motor shaft into the recess in the
motor unit.
2: Place the bowl on the motor base and then turn
the bowl clockwise until it is locked onto the motor
base.
The ‘LOCK’ mark on the bowl should align with the
arrow on the base.
3: Remove the protective covers from the chopping
blade. Place the blade onto the motor shaft and
check it is secure.
You may now place ingredients into the bowl or
wait until the lid is in place and insert them through
the feed tube.

4: Place the lid on the bowl. Locate the lug to the left
of the slot in the motor unit. Turn the lid clockwise
(to the right) and lock it firmly into position.
If the bowl and the lid are not securely locked the
appliance will not operate. This is a safety feature.

UNLOCK
The bowl must be fully rotated and tightly locked
to the base. If the bowl is even slightly loose the
appliance will not start.
This is a safety feature.
