To start the compass calibration sequence from QGroundControl, select Settings > Sensor > Compass > OK
and follow the instructions provided on the screen.
To start or cancel the compass calibration sequence manually using GCS gimbal controls use the control stick
combinations noted below.

Battery Health Monitor
Go into the battery status display by tapping on the battery icon at the top of the QGroundControl applica-
tion. Verify that the battery voltage is about 20 volts—the minimum takeoff voltage. Preferably it should be a
fully charged battery reading ~25 volts.
Note
The percent (%) reported next to the Battery status icon in the top ribbon of
QGroundControl assumes a full battery at power on. Powering on the unit
with a partially charged battery will also show a value of 100%. Always be
sure to monitor the actual voltage and do not rely on the percentage indica-
tor shown in the ribbon.
