Dust/Chip Extraction

Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings, some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one’s health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are considered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with
wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood preservative). Materials containing asbestos may only be worked
by specialists.
– Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
– It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the materials to be worked.

Charging the battery

1. Be sure to place the tool on a clean dry surface within 3 feet (1 meter) of a wall receptacle.
2. Plug the AC adaptor into the wall outlet 230V~ 50Hz.
3. Insert the AC adaptor into the Charging Port located on the back of the drill. (Fig.2)
4. Allow 3-5 hours to fully charge the battery.
5. Disconnect the adapter after charging.
6. The LED battery level indicator shows the amount of charge still left in the battery.
7. When all three lights (RED, YELLOW, and GREEN) are illuminated, the battery is at full capacity.
8. When YELLOW and RED are illuminated, it indicates battery capacity is beginning to diminish.
9. When only RED is illuminated it indicates the battery capacity is low and the unit needs to be charged.

Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full capacity of the battery, completely charge the
battery before using your power tool for the first time.

WARNING: Improper use of the battery or battery charger can lead to serious injury.
To avoid these injuries:

A) NEVER disassemble the battery.
B) NEVER incinerate the battery, even if it is damaged or is completely worn out.
The battery can explode in a fire.

Battery use and care

A battery operated tool with integral batteries or a separate battery pack must be recharged only
with the specified charger for the battery.
A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
Use battery operated tool only with specifically designed battery pack.
Use of any other batteries may create a risk of fire.
NEVER place hands or other body parts near the drill bit or chuck during operation.
Hold the drill by its handle only. Because the cordless driver drill operates by battery power, be aware of the
fact that it can begin to operate at any time.
