Before starting up the harvester, you must follow some basic procedures to ensure that the workers are safe and the harvester is being
operated properly, as well as guarantee the longevity of the machine.
Walk around the machine to visually check the following:
(29) Check the condition of the tyres. Watch out for any premature wear, blistering or abnormal tears, in which case you will need to
change the tyre(s).
See (82) and (83).
(31) Make sure that all of these housing elements are in place and secure. If the safety devices are damaged or do not work, consult your
Terrateck agent.
(32) Check the tension of the control cord: tighten/loosen the two side bolts to ensure that there is enough tension and that the pressure
on the trigger of the drill is adequate. See (28).
(33) Before using the machine, check that your power tool works properly

BEFORE YOU START
(30) Remove the cutter guard.
Do not smoke when working near the screw gun battery. There is a risk of an explosion.
Always handle the machine without the power tool.

(34) Check the battery level of your drill to ensure that it is operating effectively.
(35) Make sure that everyone in the work area maintains a safe distance of at least 2m from the machine.
(36) Position the harvester in front of the crop to be harvested by pushing the machine using the main bar.
(37) Make sure that the harvest bag at the back of the machine is empty to start harvesting.
(38) You can distribute harvesting crates along your route.
