C.A.R. 4000 (English)
The icon (
) to the right of the selected medium (HDD in this case) indicates that a list is
activated in the memory of the C.A.R. 4000; pressing ESC is acknowledged by the reversed
icon (
). We are assuming that you have synchronized yourself to the selection list.
You can also start a compilation to compile your list without deleting the selection list.
Whether you are playing back the selection list or a compilation independent of the selection
list can be seen by the soft key label in the PLAYBACK window—if it is labeled
LIST, you are
playing your selection list, but if LIST only without the icon is shown, you are playing a differ-
ent compilation.
Your selection of titles can of course be taken from different media. This allows you to mix
titles from audio-CDs, memory cards, or hard disk without problems—if you remove a me-
dium, it will be automatically removed from the list.
Something to think about.
If you have read up to this point in the manual you should be famil-
iar with the basic functions of the device. The following pages deal with the advanced options
of the C.A.R. 4000 in detail and we hope that we can show you the many exciting possibilities
of this device. Have fun with it.
