3.18 WHEELS
The rear wheels on the 3 and 4 row options are adjustable to
fit a variety of row spacings ranging from 32” - 40”. To adjust
the rear wheels, follow these steps:
1. Jack the axle off the ground to remove weight from the
tires.
2. Remove the axle bolts that hold the adjustable axle in
place.
3. Remove the two bolts in the tie rod.
4. Pull out the adjustable axle until it is placed at the de-
sired row spacing.
5. Adjust the tie rod in or out until the desired row spacing
is set.
6. Place all bolts back into their respective holes and tighten
fasteners.
7. To fine tune the tie rod setting, remove the tie rod end
with the jam nut from the spindle assembly. Loosen the
jam nut, then turn the tie rod end to extend or shorten.
Retighten the jam nut when finished.
8. The front of the tires (B) should be set 1” narrower than
the rear (C), measured at the center of the front and rear
of the tires (see Figure # 42).
