HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES
The appliance functions with rechargeable batteries:
• Insert the charging adapter plug (8) into the socket on the side of the charging stand
(6).
• Ensure that the on/off switch (1) is in the 0 (appliance off) position and place the
hairclippers on the charging stand (6).
IMpORTAnT!
• Follow the instructions for positioning the appliance on the charging stand
carefully to avoid damaging the batteries or the appliance.
• Plug the charging adapter (7) into the mains socket. The charging indicator (5) will
light up.
The time needed for a complete recharge is 7 hours.
Note: if the charging indicator light does not come on, check that you have positioned
the appliance on the charging stand correctly.
CAUTIOn!
• Use only the charging adapter supplied to recharge the appliance.
• Do not recharge the battery when temperatures are lower than 0° or higher than 40°C.
• Do not recharge the battery in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
• Do not recharge the battery for more than 48 hours consecutively.
• The hairclippers may become slightly warm during recharging.
• The rechargeable batteries cannot be substituted. At the end of their useful
life they must not be disposed of in household waste but in accordance with
the environmental laws in force in your country of residence.
The appliance is designed for cutting dry hair only. Never use on wet hair.
Ensure that the appliance is clean and that the blades have been correctly lubricated
and are in perfect working condition.
Ensure that the appliance if off and adjust the length of the cut required (see paragraph
“How to adjust the length of the required cut”).
With the switch (1) in the “I” (appliance on) position, proceed to cut the hair using the
following sequences and movements:
1.On the left/right side of the head, move the appliance from the bottom towards the top.
