6.Remove the hardware holding the bearing

flanges and bearings in place, then remove

the old bearings.

7. Place the new bearings in the flanges, with

the collars facing in. Be sure to have a

flange on both sides of each bearing. Mount

them with the hardware as shown. Tighten

hardware to 22--27 Nm (16--20 ft lb).

8. Align the hole in the bearings with the hole in

the brush shaft, then mount the brush shaft

with the two bolts removed earlier.

9. Reconnect the main brush lift cable to the

brush shaft arm with the clevis and cotter

pin.

10. Reconnect the brush motor arm assembly.

11. Replace the main brush and idler arm.

12. Check main brush pattern for taper and

width. Adjust as necessary. See TO CHECK

AND ADJUST MAIN BRUSH PATTERN.
