CHAINS

STEERING GEAR CHAIN

The steering gear chain tension should be

checked after the first 50 hours of operation and

every 500 hours there after. The deflection should

be 3 to 6 mm (0.12 to 0.25 in) between the

steering sprocket and the idler sprocket when the

steering wheel is turned the tightest position either

direction.

STATIC DRAG CHAIN

A static drag chain prevents the buildup of static

electricity in the machine. The chain is attached to

the transaxle.

Make sure the chain is always touching the floor.
