Sweep Mode
•
For linear sweep, the Generator varies the
output frequency linearly during sweeping. The
default is linear.
•
For logarithmic sweep, the Generator varies
the output frequency logarithmically during
sweeping.
•
To modify the parameter, press
Type→logarithm MHz
after switching on the
Sweep interface.
Note: if it is in sweep waveform selection
interface currently, press
Return MHz
first.
Sweep Time
•
Sweep time is the amount of time needed from start frequency to stop frequency.
•
Sweep time defaults at 1s and can be set from
1ms to 500s.
•
To modify the parameter, enable Sweep
interface, then use the multipurpose knob
and direction buttons to set up, or press
Params→SwpTim
to select, then enter in the
desired value using the numeric keypad and
use MHz to choose corresponding unit.
Selecting Trigger Source
•
The Generator will produce one sweep once it receives a trigger signal, and
then wait for the next trigger. There are internal, external and manual trigger
sources available for your option. To change
the parameter, switch on Sweep interface,
then operate
the
multipurpose knob together
with
direction buttons or press
Params→Trig
to
complete the setup.
•
When internal triggering is selected, the
Generator will output a continuous sweep at a
rate determined by the sweep time.
