Battery
Select the Battery device option to automatically record a new battery installation date.
This date is then stored until the NET-PATH Battery function is executed again.
Caution: Use this function only when replacing the NET-PATH battery.
Buzzer
The Buzzer device option lets you to turn off the audible click. Software controls the
buzzer function.
Contact Sensors
The Contact Sensors device option includes a summary view of all sensors, as well as
information about specific contact sensors. The screen below illustrates the contact
sensors summary status display.

The sensors, which are numbered 1 through 16, display on the top line. These contact
sensor numbers appear only when they are defined in the NET-PATH database. The
Cfg line indicates the sensor’s configuration – O when the sensor is set as normally
open, or a C when the sensor is set as normally closed. The Act line indicates activity,
based on the contact’s normal state. If the contact sensor is normally open and the
switch is closed, the Act line displays an X for the appropriate contact sensor.
DC Voltage
The DC Voltage device option produces a summary showing DC voltage in millivolts.
Modems
The Modems device option lets you cycle the power to the internal modem and change
the country code for an international modem. For NET-PATH units that contain an
international modem, you must specify the country code before the modem can
function. After specifying the country code, cycle the modem power using the LCD
menu.

When you choose the Cycle Modem Power option, the LCD displays the modem
power status. When the modem power is off, the LCD shows OH: Y for a few seconds,
and when modem power returns, it displays OH: N.
