A banner screen appears, as shown in Figure 4-4. The database device library 
names appear on the bottom of the LCD display as each one loads. The PUN 
number and OH: Y/N appears. The Status LED will illuminate if an application 
and database are present. Figure 4-3 illustrates a typical LCD display during the 
boot process.

When the application boots, the main screen displays.

The first line displays a banner, which includes “Teltronics” and the date. The banner, 
defined in the NET-PATH Personality Prom, contains twenty character spaces, with the 
last five reserved for the date. 

The second line contains the NET-PATH application version and the time in twenty-
four hour format. The fourth line displays the PUN version number when the 
application finishes loading. The modem status displays in the bottom-right corner. 
OH is an abbreviation for Off Hook; Y= yes, N= no. 

Login 
Procedure

Press the right arrow key to enter the system menu. When the NET-PATH security 
feature is enabled, the LCD display prompts you to enter a key sequence using the four 
buttons. This security sequence must be four single-button keystrokes. If you 
previously logged into the security system (and did not log out), or the system logged 
you out via a non-activity timeout, you will be able to re-enter the main menu. 

Navigation

Use the four arrow buttons to navigate the user interface.

 Scroll left, or return to the previous LCD display.

 Scrolls up.

 Scrolls down.

 Scroll right or select an item to display or perform an action.
