Answering machine

Set the remote access code

1. Press 

 to show the menu when the handset 

is not in use.

4. Enter your 4-digit security code. Default is 

0000

. Press 

 to delete digit while entering.

 to enter the new PIN code.

 to confirm the new PIN code.

 to save the settings.

Using the answering machine at 
the base 

Switch on/off 

Press 

 to turn the answering system on or 

off. The light behind the key will be on when 
answering system is turned on.

Call screening

You can listen at the telephone base to a caller 
leaving a message. If you want to turn off the 
call screening feature, set the telephone base 
volume to zero. Remember to raise the volume in 
order to hear your messages during playback.

Play Messages

If you have new messages, the telephone plays 
only the new messages (oldest first). If there are 
no new messages, the telephone plays back all 
messages (oldest first).

Delete all old messages

In idle mode, press

previously heard messages will be erased.

Remote access

Remote access allows you to operate your 
answering machine and listen to your messages 
by calling your phone from another phone.

To remotely access your answering 
system

1. Dial your telephone number from another 

telephone.

2. When the system answers, press

enter the four-digit remote access code 
(default remote access code is 0000). If there 
are any messages, it will begin to play them.

3. You can also enter the following remote 

commands.

4. Hang up to end the call and save all undeleted 

messages.
