5.3 Ad
Mode
Ad Mode allows the user to select an Ad, then either Record, Review or Activated the Ad.
5.3.1 Sel - Selection
The currently selected Ad number is shown on the top line of the display along with the name of the
Ad. Ads download by the System Controller have specific names while Ads recorded locally as
called “LOCAL”, slots which contain no Ads display “Ad Empty”.

Key “I” - Selects the Ad displayed in the top line
Key “II” - Increments to the next Ad number
Key “III” - Decrements to the previous Ad number

5.3.2 Ad Action

Ad, while the bottom line of the display indicates possible actions; Record, Review, Activate.”.

Key “I” - Sets the unit to record audio from the handset input
Key “II” - Sets the unit to play the Ad to the handset ear piece
Key “III” - Sets the unit to either Activate or Deactivate the Ad
Key “IV” - Quits Ad Action
5.3.3 Rec - Record
Local Ads are recorded only from the handset. Once started, the unit immediately erases the
existing Ad and begins record the new Ad. The stop recording the user presses either the “Stop”
key (“IV”) or the “Recording” key (“I”). The Ad is recorded and tagged with the name “Local”.
Should the recording exceed the maximum length of the Ad slot, the recording automatically halts.
Note: Locally recorded Ads are automatically marked as Deactivated. The user must Activate the
