Annex 1.- Motor Position Setting
This menu lets you change the orientation of the motorised antenna to select
the new orbital positions of the different satellites or to correct the satellite
positions that have already been stored.
In "Antenna Setup" we can define that satellites that we are going to use.
Each one will have a different Antenna number and we will select the
"Motor" option in the DiSEqC section.
Motor Position Setting is where you can position the dish.
Specify the transponder that you are going to use to check the signal
level by pressing the
or
buttons.
Move Motor. This will move the antenna to the East or West - you can
stop it by selecting Stop.
In the "Install Mode" section, there are two ways of carrying out the
search for the orbital position. The "User" mode allows you to move the
antenna towards the east or west step by step.
Set Limit. To establish the limits after the orbital positions have been
stored in the memory. These are the positions that limit the orientation of
the antenna at each end of the arch.
Control/Function. This stores the satellite positions. The other
alternatives are "Go to 0" that moves the antenna so that it is pointing to
the south and "Go to" that moves the antenna to the latest position that it
has stored.
Finally, when you select "Recalculate Position" the receiver places the
positions that it has found in a correlative order and stores them in its
memory.
