This input frequency range is based on the frequency values of the local
oscillator that is assigned to each transponder.
The frequency range covers all the values.
Press the OK button over the “OK” box in the menu to confirm the type of
search.
Place the cursor on “Start” and press OK to start the search.
If an antenna position has not been marked, the search will not be
carried out.
When you start the channel search and if you dispose of a motorised
antenna, you may find that the antenna is not directed towards the
selected satellite, in which case, it will begin to move towards the position
that it has stored in its memory for this satellite. This position is shown on
your TV screen.
During the channel search, the following information will be displayed
onscreen:
- The name of the satellite that is being explored.
- The number of transponders that have been found.
- The progress of the process (in percentage).
- The names of the channels that have been found.
If you want to stop this search before it has finished, you must press the
EXIT button on the remote control.
When the search has finished, the number of the channels that have
been found is displayed onscreen.
When you exit the “Auto Search” menu by pressing EXIT on the remote
control, the following message appears: “Saving data ...”.
Note:
- The number of transponders can appear to be greater than the amount that was preprogrammed. This is because this
receiver uses the NIT information transmitted by the satellite to add any new channels automatically.
- If you want to look for channels indicating the “L” band frequencies directly (950-2150 MHz) see the “TP Setup” option.
