9 Troubleshooting Questions
1.
How do I power up my device?
There are two
ways to power the device. The automobile
cigarette lighter provides full power while limited
power is given to the device through the USB
cable connected to your Windows XP computer.

I can't get my device attached to the
windshield.
Place the suction cup firmly on the
window and flip the black switch which draws
suction from the cup to attach the device. In
cooler or drier conditions, you may need to warm
the windshield or moisten the suction cup for
maximum seal.
3.
Why can't I get power via the USB cable?
This
must be a tight connection so if it isn't working
properly, check the connections. When using the
MP3 player, it is recommended to store music on
a Secure Digital Card.
4.
Why aren't the streets labeled?
In 3D mode,
only major thoroughfares are shown. Change to
2D mode to get more labeled streets.
5.
What do I do if I change my destination during
a route?
This requires a <clear route> maneuver
done by pressing <Menu>, then <Route> and on
the second screen, press <Reroute>.
Alternatively, use the <New Route> feature to
create a new route; the old route will be cleared
