In connection with Behnke two-core tech-
nology, you need PoE IEEE802.3at-2009 or a
suitable power supply unit for the two-core
transmitter/receiver system (e.g. the POE
injector 20-9596).

For the ethernet installation: PoE (IEEE 802.
af-2003 or later) supplied Cat5 ethernet cable
▸
Free network port on your switch / router
▸
WiFi (please ensure that the installation com-
pany provides for sufficient WiFi coverage)
▸
The app “TC Behnke” from the Apple®
AppStore® or Google Play® respectively (the
app must remain an active process in the
background of your smartphone/tablet)
▸
DHCP server providing an IP address, a
subnet mask, a gateway and a DNS server
(standard)
▸
a broadband internet connection (without
proxy / SOCKS server) from your provider,
e.g. DSL 2000 or faster. Unlimited data is
recommended. Your door intercom needs to
establish a direct connection to the internet
(without proxy / SOCKS server).

Smartphone or tablet PC at least featuring iOS
10 and activated Apple ID to download the
app free of charge
▸
Android 7 or later – smartphones and tablets
(with at least a dual core processor 2 x 1.2 GHz
or faster) and activated Google Play account
to download the app free of charge

"Digital Identification" in a safe place. Without
the access information provided on this sheet,
changes to your configurations will be
impossible at a later stage.
When receiving a call from your door intercom
station, the video and voice quality depend
on the hardware in use (type of smartphone,
tablet). Due to a large number of available
Android devices and the many differences in
terms of quality with devices using the Android
operating system, we cannot guarantee a
flawless voice quality when you use our app and
its functionality on such a device. Please note
that there is a large number of devices featuring
the Android operating system and an even
larger number of different versions of the said
operating system. As each version and build
feature their own settings on energy savings, it
is impossible to guarantee an on-going and per-
manent operation of the myintercom app. With
Apple devices featuring the operating system
iOS, such reliable operation of the myintercom
app can be achieved. Consequently, we recom-
mend using this operating system in connection
with the myintercom app.
Please note that the system uses push notifica-
tions, transmitted via network components and
internet services. These services and compo-
nents are outside of our control, therefore,
we cannot guarantee push notifications to be
delieverd in real time. Where the provider is
setting up this service, its functionality cannot
be guaranteed.
