4.2. Line lengths of the bus system
Cable length
Please note the following general requirements
that apply to Behnke’s IP extension interface:
the minimum core cross-section is 0.6mm² and
the maximum cable length between either two
bus subscribers or between the bus subscriber
and Behnke’s IP basic electronics is 50m.
Number of bus subscribers
By default, up to 6 subscribers may be con-
nected to Behnke’s IP extension interface.
Under certain conditions, this number may
be further extended to up to 28 subscribers,
however, please contact our 24-hour-service for
additional information.
