Headset installation
The headset can be used instead of the handset during radio performance in listening
modes for voice transmission. The headset allows the operator to perform other activities
during the reception and transmission of spoken information, e.g., to make records while
receiving the information. The headset is secured on the radio ope
rator’s head.
The headset is connected to the radio in accordance with the diagram, shown in Figure
5,
and the headset placement on the operator’s body is shown in Figures 6 and 7.
