to find and select a new location. The

Confirm Installation screen is displayed.

Next

to begin installation. The progress screen is shown, followed by the Installation

Complete screen.

8. Click

Close

to complete the installation.

Assign IP Address to XPort

1. Launch the Lantronix DeviceInstaller program:

a. For Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000: Click

Start/Programs/Lantronix/DeviceInstaller/

DeviceInstaller

b. For Windows XP: Click

Start/All Programs/Lantronix/DeviceInstaller/

DeviceInstaller

If the remote PC has more than one network adapter, a prompt appears. Select the

adapter representing the network card connected to the same LAN as the XPort and
click

OK

.

2. The DeviceInstaller control screen is shown, displaying a default IP address.
