FM400OC2
Plug-in receiver with “open collector” outputs for FM400 series remote controls
NOIREOC2
Plug-in receiver with “open collector” outputs for NOIRE series remote controls
EDGEOC2
Plug-in receiver with “open collector” outputs for EDGE series remote controls
Also compatible with transmitters in the previous series TANGO (NO Rolling-Code,
NO TangoSW)
TANGOOC2SW
Plug-in receiver with “open collector” outputs for TANGO SW series remote controls
The FM400, NOIRE, EDGE and TANGOSW series are self-learning receivers with
“open collector” outputs. These 3 series (no TANGOSW) feature a digital coding
system with over a million different combinations. The transmitters do not require any
programming since the code, different for each transmitter, is set at the factory during
the testing operations. The FM400 / NOIRE series is an advanced version of
traditional remote controls; its “Rolling-Code” variable code system provides
enhanced security and inviolability. Moreover, the FM400 series operates with
frequency modulation (FSK).

The following description covers the procedures for memorizing transmitters
directly in the receiver; for programming with PRG, refer to the relative manuals.
OC2 receivers have two outputs and a number of options, with the following rules:
- the same code cannot be programmed on more than one channel of the same
receiver.
- only pulse operating mode is enabled in output (1).
- the code memorized activates one function of the circuit board connected. For
operation and options, refer to the control unit manual.
- during programming, keep the transmitter and receiver about 50 cm apart.
- all the codes programmed in a receiver are stored in the memory chip (M, fig. 1).
If the memory chip is moved to another receiver (of the same series), the entire
programming is retained.
Self-learning of codes for operation of output 1
This output is usually combined with the control unit's Step/Step control.
- Press button P1 (fig.1) quickly on the receiver.
- LED L1 blinks 5 times.
- During the blinks, press the key of the code to be memorized on the transmitter.

ROLLING-CODE SYSTEM
The FM400 and NOIRE series have rolling-code systems. This provides an
extremely high level of security, since there is no risk of cloning of the code
transmitted.
CAUTION! In the NOIRE series, the Rolling-Code function can be disabled
by removing the jumper JP1.
