6.5  Periodic maintenance 

 
All  tasks  requiring  removal  of  air  conditioner 
covers must – as with installation - be carried 
out by expert personnel 
 

  Remove  the  external  lid  and  remove  any 

leaves or other deposited material. Clean 
the  heat  exchangers  (evaporator  and 
condenser)  via  the  special  detergent  and 
rinse  with  water.  Check  that  the 
condensate drain holes are unobstructed. 

  Check that the seals are in good condition 

and  there  is  no  water  infiltration  into  the 
vehicle. 

  Remove  any  traces  of  oxidation  from 

metallic parts and protect the zone with a 
suitable paint. 

  Check  that  wiring  insulation  is  in  good 

condition  and  eliminate  any  traces  of 
oxidation or moisture. 

  Check  that  all  screws  are  properly 

tightened. 

 
 

6.6  Spare parts 

 
If the event of repair or replacement of parts, 
use only original spare parts. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

7  DISPOSAL 

 

The materials used for the construction of this 
appliance  are  recyclable.  In  the  event  of 
disposal,  it  is  advisable  to  bring  the  unit  to  a 
specialist  workshop  or  designated  waste
