Status displays
The Status display provides several text views that show the status of the signal.
You can view current alarms and errors (those occurring now and within the last
few seconds), a history of errors and alarms (up to 10,000 entries), video error
statistics or audio error statistics. You can display a different Status display type
in all four tiles.
To select a status display
1.
Press and hold the
STATUS
button to open the Status pop-up menu.
2.
Use the arrow keys to select one of the following displays:

Display Type > AES Channel Status
– Displays the status of the
specified audio channels in the specified format. See
on page 109.

Display Type > Alarm Status
– Displays the current status of alarms.

■
ARIB Display >display mode
– Displays the selected ARIB status
display. See
on page 112.
■
Display Type > Audio Control
– Displays the metadata encoded in the
audio control packet. See
on page 112.
■
Display Type > Audio Session
– Displays several performance
parameters which provide an overview of the audio input signal. See
■
Display Type > Auxiliary Data Status
– Displays the status of the
auxiliary data in the video signal such as closed caption, teletext, AFD,
and V-chip rating. See
on page 118.
■
Display Type > Dolby Status
– Displays the Dolby metadata from the
VANC in the currently monitored SDI input. See
on page 121.
■
Display Type > Error Log
– Displays a log of the error events that have
been detected since the instrument was turned on or since the log was last
reset. You can view all of the errors or just the errors for the selected
input and save the log to a USB memory device. See

Display Type > Video Session
– Displays several performance
parameters which provide an overview of the video input signal. See
on page 131.
