Menu Functions
Once the instrument has been initialized, you can con
fi
gure the software using the
menu tabs and buttons. Following is a description of the functions.
Find Sensors
Click this button to tell the software to search for all connected instruments. The
results will appear in the window with the instrument serial number and address.
Sensor ID
Click this button to activate the green LED on the selected instrument. This is
useful when you have multiple instruments connected and you want to identify
a particular one.
Initialize Sensor
Click this button to initialize the instrument. When initialization is complete, a
dialog box will appear stating so.
Help
Click this button to open the online help

le for this application. It is in a PDF
format.
Data Storage
Use the Data Storage window to specify where
fi
les will be stored and to select to
add a date and time stamp to the
fi
le name. If you check
Append date and time
to
fi
le name
, the date and time is appended to the speci
fi
ed
fi
le name and modi
fi
ed
each time a new set of data is taken. This allows you to take several sets of data
without having to specify a new name. It also groups the
fi
les together in the
fi
le
browser. You can also choose to view a NotePad (by default) version of the data
when the measurements are completed.
